Dynamic

Developing your communication skills can help all aspects of your life, from your professional life to social gatherings and everything in between. The ability to communicate information accurately, clearly and as intended, is a vital life skill and something that should not be overlooked.

Effective communication is a key interpersonal skill and by learning how we can improve, our communication has many benefits. It is never too late to work on your communication skills and by doing so improve your quality of life.

At a first meeting, formalities and appropriate greetings are usually expected: such formalities could include a handshake, an introduction to yourself, eye contact and discussion around a neutral subject such as the weather or your journey may be useful. A friendly disposition and smiling face are much more likely to encourage communication than a blank face, inattention or disinterested reception.

Mentoring Minds

Communication is a two way process so improving communication involves both how we send and receive messages. Effective communication skills are fundamental to success in many aspects of life. The most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen. Just listen. Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our attention.

In many interpersonal encounters, the first few minutes are extremely important as first impressions have a significant impact on the success of further communication.

Everyone has expectations as to how initial meetings should proceed and people tend to behave according to these expectations. If these expectations are mismatched, communication will not be effective or run smoothly. Through the Advanced Communication and Empowerment sessions learn how to take control of a meeting where expectations are mismatched or are heading in the wrong direction.

Smart

The successful people in this world have one uniform thing that stands out, they are great communicators. They are masters of getting that question answered and build their pathway of success based on the answer they get enabling them to navigate to their objective.

Learn how to master this skill through the mentoring program Advance Communication and Empowerment sessions. You will learn how to get the answer every time by mastering a communication technique called the ALF & ANT. The techniques can be applied to your personal, academic, business and professional life. Get the edge by using a communication technique that is only used by a fraction of people in the world

Powerful

Did you know that the true answer to any question is based around the first three words someone says, it’s just most people aren’t listening well enough to pick up the first three words….

Did you know that most people don’t actually answer the question you ask; they give you commentary instead and leave you wondering why they didnt answer your question.... We all get that right ?

Once you complete the Advance Communication and Empowerment session and master this communication technique you are never left wondering what? About anyone and anything.

The Mentoring Company teaches powerful communication techniques, using the ALF and the ANT connected to the Deal concept.

Strategy

Being able to communicate effectively is the most important of all life skills, the desired outcome or goal of any communication process is understanding. Communication is simply the act of transferring information from one place to another, how well this information can be transmitted and received is a measure of how good our communication skills are. Many jobs require strong communication skills and socially people with improved communication skills usually enjoy better interpersonal relationships with friends and family.

When you can take a person or a group from point A (which is your questions) to point B (which is your objective or desired outcome) in a conversation by just asking and not telling them, you have mastered your communication and what comes with mastering your communication is untouchable confidence and empowerment, enabling you to have the life you want.

Testimonials

“I was introduced to Paul Ebbels of The Mentoring Company by a business associate four years ago, and I believe it is Paul’s guidance and mentoring that has helped me to earn the position that I have today – I hold a management and board position in the corporate world that some would say is beyond my years.  I would like to take this opportunity to highly recommend Paul’s mentoring services to anyone. If you feel like you can’t seem to get the results that you are looking for from your communication, Paul teaches you how to make slight tweaks in how you tackle a conversation and the response is amazing.  I believe that the key idea I have taken out of Paul’s mentoring is an increased awareness of the way I communicate and engage with people. It’s amazing how much more successful you can be when you learn to properly think your words and actions through. Paul is easy to speak with, ensures you feel incredibly comfortable and challenges you constantly. Good luck working with Paul; you will be thrilled with the results” Dani Tutorov Executive Director, Melbourne Victoria.

Success

The process of communication is irreversible, you can wish you had not said something and you can apologise for something you said and later regret – but you cannot take it back. We often behave and therefore communicate to others based on previous communication encounters. We stereotype people, often subconsciously, maybe by gender, social standing, religion, race, age and other factors – stereotypes are generalisations, often exaggerated.  Start all communication with an open mind; listen to what is being said rather than hearing what you expect to hear. You are less likely to be misunderstood or say things that you regret later. Learn how to master this skill through the Advance Communication and Empowerment sessions.
